Just in time for the holiday season, Amazon plans to update its Fire TV Stick device to work with 4k televisions and will bundle it with a new version of the Alexa Voice Remote.

For $49.99, you’ll get the new Fire TV Stick 4K streaming media player and a new Alexa Voice Remote that will allow users to control other parts of their entertainment systems, including TVs and audio equipment that works with a list of compatible devices. You’ll also be able to buy the remote separate for $29.99, and it will now come with the Fire TV Cube.

ABI Research expects that 100 million 4K televisions will be sold this year, and that that number will double by 2022. Amazon said “thousands” of 4K movies and shows are currently available to customers, who have been able to access 4K content through the slightly larger Fire TV for some time now.

The new Alexa Voice Remote adds dedicated buttons for volume, mute, and power to the older design for the Fire TV Stick, and could become a universal living room remote with the new support for additional consumer electronics devices. A full list of compatible devices can be found here.

Both devices will be available for pre-order today, and they will start shipping on Oct. 31st.
