ThinkGeek fans who prefer not to brave the traffic and head north to Seattle hit up one of their favorite stores will soon be able to do their shopping at Tacoma Mall.

The popular retail chain announced Monday that it was opening its second location in Washington state and on the West Coast just months after opening a store at Northgate Mall.

The 2,500-square-foot storefront will stock all of the apparel, gadgets, collectibles and decor that geeks have come to love by shopping ThinkGeek’s online site for years. The Northgate opening attracted a line of holiday shoppers in early December.

“We love adding new retailers, such as ThinkGeek, with exciting and diverse shopping options that appeal to our ever-evolving shoppers,” Sarah Bonds, director of marketing and business development at Tacoma Mall, said in a news release. “We’re looking forward to welcoming ThinkGeek to our center!”

A spring opening is planned. Tacoma Mall is located parallel to I-5 on the west side between the 38th Street and 56th Street exits in Tacoma.
