Microsoft plans to reveal much more about its new Xbox console this June at the big E3 video game conference. The tech giant sent media invites this morning for the event and Xbox chief Phil Spencer penned a blog post with some more details about “Project Scorpio.”

“We’ve created the most powerful console with you in mind,” Spencer wrote.

Microsoft says Project Scorpio will be the “first true 4K console” for gamers. It revealed more information about the hardware last week in partnership with Eurogamer — in short, the new console will improve upon the existing Xbox One in a variety of ways with more powerful technology.

Spencer said today that “we designed Project Scorpio to be the best console to play the blockbuster multiplatform games from our publishing partners.”

There are still no details about price, the actual design, the official name, and more, but you can expect all that at Microsoft’s E3 press event, which kicks off at 11 a.m. PT on Sunday, June 11.
