Microsoft’s summer interns received a surprise at Seattle’s Gas Works Park tonight: a Maroon 5 concert.

It wasn’t a secret for long in the neighborhood. Kayakers and boaters on Lake Union were trying to get close enough for a free show, reports GeekWire’s Adam Rubens — who, along with the rest of his neighbors, got himself a free concert out of the deal.
