T-Mobile logoT-Mobile today announced the first of its new holiday deals.

The Bellevue-based wireless carrier will give out three months of unlimited LTE smartphone data to its Simple Choice postpaid customers — including those with business accounts — starting on Dec. 1.

The unlimited data will kick in once customers have used up their allotted data and Data Stash. To receive the deal, customers will also need to stay on the same T-Mobile plan with Binge On, the company’s new streaming product, active through March 1, 2016. Finally, the unlimited data deal does not include tethering, Vudu movie rentals, and other benefits that customers who already pay for unlimited data receive.

More deals will roll out over the next four weeks as part of “Un-carrier Unwrapped.”

It’s been a busy past few months for T-Mobile. Last week, the country’s third-largest carrier unveiled its “Binge On” program, which exempts video streamed through 24 different apps — including Netflix, HBO Go and Sling TV — from counting against customers’ 4G LTE data limits. Essentially, the program will let many T-Mobile customers use select streaming services for free.

Sprint, meanwhile, once again threw down the gauntlet in the wireless price-cutting war last week, introducing a promotion that will give new customers a 50 percent discount on whatever they’re paying for service from T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon. The company also flew a promotional banner above T-Mobile’s U.S. headquarters in Bellevue last week.
