microsoftrealmadridThe new partnership between Microsoft and Real Madrid is starting to take shape.

Microsoft, the “official technological partner” of Real Madrid, this week posted two videos on YouTube featuring the world’s most valuable and richest sports franchise.

The first video, titled “Passion Powers Passion,” shows Real Madrid players using devices like the Surface Pro 3 and the Microsoft Band during practice.

The second video debuts a new project called “Fan Sticker Album” that lets people create digital cards of themselves that include information like how long they’ve been a Real Madrid fan, and what country they hail from.

Microsoft inked a reported $30 million, four-year deal with Real Madrid in November. While it may not be as lucrative as the company’s $400 million sponsorship deal with the NFL, it’s still a key sports partnership for Microsoft. Real Madrid has millions of fans and followers around the world — nearly 78 million likes on the team’s Facebook page — and analysts value the team at $3.44 billion. The club, which generated $675 million in revenue during the 2012-13 season, already has annual deals with Adidas ($41 million/year) and Emirates ($39 million/year).

Microsoft has built a webpage specifically to tout the partnership. This is not the company’s first partnership with a soccer club. The Seattle Sounders have sported “Xbox” on their jerseys since the club entered Major League Soccer in 2009, and will continue to do so at least through the 2016 season.
