AMC’s popular series The Walking Dead returns this weekend, and to prepare us all, the first two minutes of season five’s mid-season premiere have been released as a sneak peek.
Opening with Beth’s burial, it’s filled with pretty somber, grim scenes that don’t give us much, but do offer some clues as to where the season is headed. No spoilers here. You’ll just have to watch it for yourself.
In case you missed it, NPR had an excellent piece this morning on actor Steven Yeun, who plays “Glenn” in the series, on busting through stereotypes and getting the girl.
The Walking Dead is on at 9 p.m. this Sunday, of course, followed up by the premiere of Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul.
