T-Mobile announced today that it will sell Sony’s flagship Xperia Z3 smartphone on Oct. 29 for $630 up front or in 24 monthly payments of $26.25. You can pre-order the device starting on Oct. 15.
T-Mobile joins Verizon, which announced its own custom version of the Xperia Z3 last week, as the only American carriers to offer Sony’s new phone. The Bellevue-based wireless carrier also carried the Xperia Z and Xperia Z1S at launch.
Sony showed off the Xperia Z3, the Xperia Z3 Compact — which you can buy now — and the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact at an event last month. The new smartphones both have 3GB of RAM, run a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU at 2.5 GHz, and have a 20.7-megapixel camera. All three devices will be able to stream and play games from a PlayStation 4, given that the console and devices are on the same WiFi network.
Reviews so far for the Xperia Z3 have been impressive.
