geekworkOur focus at GeekWire is on reporting news, and bringing together the Pacific Northwest technology community. As part of that, we’re also in a position to help people find the best jobs in tech — and we’ve got a couple of new ways to connect great geeks with top companies.

gw200First, we recently launched a new version of our jobs site, GeekWork, with a streamlined interface that makes it easier than ever for employers to post jobs. If you’re looking for your next great gig, check out all of the jobs on the new GeekWork, and sign up to create a profile and upload your resume to the site.

We will also be highlighting our top picks from GeekWork in this weekly post (below).

Second, we’ve added a new feature to our GeekWire 200 index of the Seattle region’s top startups, and to our larger Startup List of Seattle-area tech companies. Companies now have the option to advertise that they’re hiring with a special “We’re Hiring” button and link on the GeekWire 200 and Startup List. Job seekers were already using both to research employers, and we hope this new feature helps.

(Companies interested in putting a “We’re Hiring” button next to their names on the GeekWire 200 and Startup List can contact Daniel Rossi, GeekWire’s chief business officer, at daniel@geekwire.com or 206-423-9196.)

Without further ado, here are our top job picks of the week, hand-picked from the featured listings on GeekWork.
