I know what you’re thinking — not another one of these annoying Gangnam Style remakes.
But hold up. Seattle’s F5 Networks just unveiled its own Gangnam Style parody called “IT Style” that is geeky and actually pretty funny.
“Inspired by PSY and the technologies that enabled his meteoric rise, we bring you IT Style to honor the IT heroes who make the connected world run better,” the company writes in this blog post.
Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Boba Fett and network cables all make an appearance in this clever parody that’s bound to make IT people laugh a little.
F5 Networks has been operating in the Seattle area for more than 15 years, quietly building one of the biggest success stories of the tech community. F5′s technology is core infrastructure within data centers, optimizing the delivery of online applications.
Shares of F5 Networks tumbled in October after the maker of networking equipment and software missed its fourth quarter numbers and scaled back its projections for the current quarter. But shares have been climbing since then and are nearly up to $100/share.
