Übermind has developed a reputation as one of the top developers of mobile applications, helping companies such as Target, REI and Alaska Airlines roll out rich mobile experiences.

So, it is no wonder that the 12-year-old company is undergoing a serious growth spurt. To meet the new demands, the company has moved to a larger headquarters in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood and opened a second office in Denver.

It employs about 150 people at the new headquarters, located at 837 North 34th Street. And it is hoping to add about 50 new employees by the end of the year, looking specifically for developers and designers with mobile experience.

“We’re profitable, growing quickly and want to expand our team to accelerate our ability to serve new and existing clients,” said Übermind CEO Shehryar Khan.

Khan, who has self-funded the company, previously worked at Platinum Technology and Computer Associates.

Übermind has helped create the DinnerSpinner app for AllRecipes, as well as the mobile shopping app for Target. It also developed popular apps, such as iLightr, The Best Camera and The Twilight Tracker.
