We’re coming to you a little early this week with a special edition of the GeekWire Podcast, recorded on the red carpet Thursday night as attendees arrived for the Seattle 2.0 Awards.

GeekWire’s John Cook and Rebecca Lovell chatted with many of the nominees as they showed up for the big bash — including Ben Huh of Cheezburger, Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz, Cliff Kushler of Swype, Sunny Gupta of Apptio, Tony Wright of CubeDuel, Dan Shapiro of Sparkbuy and Eric Koester of Zaarly. (Yes, they cornered a lot of people!) Others taking part were angel investor Geoff Entress, Danielle Morrill of Twilio, and Galen Ward of Estately.

It’s our most populous podcast to date — a ton of fun. In the final segment, Rebecca, John and I recap the evening, including the winners and keynoter Mark Suster’s call to arms for the tech community.
