About this role
Smartsheet is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its Dashboards team, which builds the data visualization experiences that help customers turn raw information into insight. You will lead and grow a team of engineers spanning all experience levels, coaching them to deliver high-quality, beautiful data visualization features on time and with lasting technical health. You’ll own the roadmap creation and execution for the Dashboards team, partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders, and help shape how the team builds AI-enabled features on modern data platforms like Databricks. This is a remote eligible position, and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
The role asks for 2-3+ years of experience managing medium to large engineering teams and a proven track record of successful project delivery, roadmap creation, and team/process building. It also lists experience building and shipping AI-powered product features, experience with Databricks or similar modern data platforms, and experience coaching and developing engineers across a range of experience levels, from early-career to senior/principal.
US Base Salary Pay Range: $175,000—$245,000 USD
