The Playbook: Startup Secrets

The Playbook: Startup Secrets

Guests attend The Playbook speaker series, which provides an inside look at entrepreneurship.

Startups. Sports. And the thrill of entrepreneurship! Welcome to The Playbook, a fast-moving and inspiring entrepreneurial speaker series hosted by GeekWire. Our next event takes place on Wednesday, June 26th at The Ninety (406 Occidental Avenue South, Seattle, WA) in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood. Limited tickets are available for this series.

T.A. McCann, Managing Director at Pioneer Square Labs, will join on June 26.

Designed for entrepreneurs and business leaders, The Playbook, presented by Lane Powell and Seattle Bank, brings together Seattle’s top minds, innovators and iconoclastic thinkers to share the secrets to success, while also recounting what it takes to overcome life’s biggest hurdles. The best startup lessons occur when entrepreneurs trade war stories with other entrepreneurs, so join us for those insightful lessons and get the inside track on what it takes to build great teams, inspire innovative thinking and outwit the competition.

Featured Speaker: T.A. McCann, managing director at Pioneer Square Labs, is an entrepreneur, investor, athlete and coach who has had a hand in building companies that have sold to Google and Blackberry. An accomplished sailor, McCann competed in the America’s Cup race in the 1990s, part of the team which took home the title in 1992 aboard America3.  He studied mechanical engineering at Purdue University, where he received All Big 10 honors in swimming and was an Olympic Trials qualifier. Moderator: GeekWire co-founder John Cook.

Timeline: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
