AI x Bio Demo Night with NVIDIA & Allen Institute for AI
AI Tinkerers brings Seattle’s technical AI and biology communities together for a live demo night with NVIDIA and the Allen Institute for AI (Ai2), which is hosting the evening at its Seattle offices.
The format is the AI Tinkerers standard: no slides and no product pitches. Presenters show working systems — live terminals, notebooks, models and pipelines — and explain the architecture, tradeoffs and failures behind them.
Topics on the program include:
- AI-assisted workflows for biological research and discovery
- Accelerated genomics and bioinformatics
- Foundation models and agentic tooling for biology
- GPU-accelerated data science and biomedical imaging
- Infrastructure for large, complex biological datasets
Alongside NVIDIA and Ai2, the community showcase features DNAnexus, Fred Hutch Cancer Center and Seattle-based Talus Bio. JPMorgan Chase is supporting the event through its Innovation Economy and Life Sciences teams.
Attendance is application-based and manually reviewed. The venue address is released to approved attendees.
