Matt Hulett, a veteran of the Seattle tech and startup scene, is stepping down as CEO and president of PetMed Express, a publicly traded, Florida-based online pet pharmacy.

Hulett joined the company in 2021. Before that, he was co-president at language learning giant Rosetta Stone and held leadership roles at various Seattle tech companies, including TINYpulse, ClickBank, RealNetworks, Expedia, and AdXpose.

Hulett, based in Seattle, is also stepping down from the company’s board. He will officially depart May 10 and remain an advisor through August.

“As I close this chapter, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity I had to lead such a fantastic company and am proud of everything we have accomplished together,” Hulett wrote on LinkedIn.

PetMed announced Monday that Sandra Campos will replace Hulett. Campos, who joined the company’s board last year, is the former CEO of DVF and interim CEO of Project Verte Israel. She’s on the board of Seattle e-commerce startup Fabric.

Other key personnel changes across the Pacific Northwest tech industry:

— Seattle startup Avante, which came out of stealth mode earlier this year, added three new employees: former CHEQ exec Aniket Naravanekar as head of product, former Amperity leader Kris Larson as head of customer success, and former Isometric Technologies employee Sanjana Galgalikar as product designer.

— Seattle-area mobile marketplace company OfferUp named Michael Eggers as both chief financial officer and chief operating officer, and promoted Betsy Kennedy to vice president of sales.

— Microsoft veteran Dina Apostolou was named senior vice president of marketing at New York analytics startup Sisense. Apostolou was most recently a vice president at Contentful.
