— Microsoft alum Wendy Turner-Williams is now chief data officer at Tableau. She joined from Tableau’s parent company Salesforce where she was vice president of information management and strategy.

At Microsoft, Turner-Williams worked on information management for the Azure data and cloud teams as well as enterprise data governance.

Salesforce acquired Seattle-based Tableau Software in 2019 for $15.7 billion. The data visualization software company is currently led by Mark Nelson, who was appointed CEO in March.

Salesforce also acquired Slack, integration software company Mulesoft and data storytelling company Narrative Science. Tableau has announced new integrations with Slack and Narrative Science.

— Seattle-based Outreach announced Prasad Raje as its first-ever chief product officer.

Based in San Jose, Calif., Raje was most recently SVP of product management at RingCentral, a cloud communications provider. A repeat startup founder, he also served as an executive at Oracle.

Outreach’s product team was previously led by Amritansh Raghav, who remains EVP of engineering and joined the sales enablement software company in 2019.

The original head of product was co-founder Andrew Kinzer. Since departing, Kinzer launched a new startup, Edesia Technologies, which is using hardware and data science to develop a new system for consumers to store and manage food.

— Vancouver, B.C.-based Trulioo, an identity tech startup valued at $1.75 billion, appointed Michael Ramsbacker as its first chief product officer. Based in the San Diego area, Ramsbacker has led product management at Epsilon and Mitek Systems.

— Former Amazon Web Services (AWS) General Manager Pravjit Tiwana is now chief technology officer at cryptocurrency exchange Gemini.

Tiwana spent more than six years at AWS, most recently managing AWS Edge Services. He was previously a product leader at Microsoft and an engineering leader at Disney.

Headquartered in New York, Gemini was founded in 2014 by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. The brothers were portrayed in The Social Network, a movie about the founding of Facebook, and began investing in bitcoin in 2010.

— Tech-enabled hospitality company Sonder hired Harry Sun as VP of engineering. The San Francisco-based startup expanded its service to the Seattle area in 2020 and went public earlier this month via SPAC.

Sun, who is based in the Seattle area, was most recently head of technology for Indeed.com’s enterprise sourcing platform. He previously spent more than a decade in engineering roles at Amazon and was a senior software engineering director at HTC.

— Seattle startup Highspot, which raised $248 million earlier this month, appointed Jyl Feliciano as VP and its first global head of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

Based in Chicago, Feliciano joins Highspot from marketing agency 3Q Digital where she led a similar team. She previously lead diversity and inclusion programs in the health and food industries and has experience as a recruiter.

— Honeywell and AWS alum Marissa Mattson is now chief people office at Tradeshift, a supply chain payments platform.

At AWS, Mattson was the HR director for its global infrastructure and customer support teams. She is based in Seattle.

— Canadian entrepreneur Steve Lowry joined Silicon Valley Bank as vice president of technology banking, expanding the startup-oriented bank’s presence in Vancouver, B.C.

— Seattle venture capital firm Fuse hired Zane Khatib as an associate. He was most recently part of the private investment team at Brighton Jones Investment Partners.

Launched in 2020, Fuse is focused on early-stage enterprise software startups. It recently revealed the size of its inaugural fund and portfolio. Read more.

— Seattle HR consultancy Reverb hired LaDonna Wilder as the company’s first internal people and culture manager. Founded in 2015, Reverb has 12 full-time employees and more than 60 consultants with clients across the tech, bioscience and gaming industry.
