Spectrum Effect, a Seattle-area startup that sells analytics software to mobile operators, has raised $9.5 million to fuel growth.

Founded in 2015, Spectrum Effect helps customers analyze mobile network data and mitigate interference from PIM, faulty radio equipment, cross border, RAN, and other sources. The fresh cash will be used to support new commercial deployments and expand to new territories.

Joseph Landy, the former co-CEO at Warburg Pincus, led the round. Existing investors, including Seattle-area angels, also participated. Total funding to date is $21 million.

Spectrum is led by Charles Immendorf, a telecom vet who previously led Seattle-area wireless network startup Eden Rock Communications, which sold to Nokia in 2015. Many of Eden Rock’s investors are also behind Spectrum Effect.

Spectrum has 40 employees across Kirkland, Wash., and Monterrey, Mexico, with plans to increased headcount to 50 by the end of this quarter.
