News Brief: A coalition of 22 states and the District of Columbia have filed a petition to appeal the Federal Communications Commission’s net neutrality rollback. Attorney General Bob Ferguson and his counterparts in states cross the country claim the FCC’s decision to repeal the Obama era regulations violates federal law. The petition is the first step in what will be an ongoing legal battle over the FCC’s controversial decision to eliminate net neutrality protections, which require internet providers to deliver all content at the same speed. Read the full petition, filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, here.
