Boston-based venture capital firm Battery Ventures today announced that it will acquire Audio Precision, a Portland, Ore.-area company founded in 1984 that builds electronic audio and electro-acoustic test instrumentation.

Audio Precision helps engineers test a bevy of audio devices and systems such as semiconductors to headphones and speakers. The company has 83 employees, according to LinkedIn.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Battery Ventures has invested in other Pacific Northwest companies including Sensu, Koru, Avalara, Chef, Porch, and BlueKai.
