You can get your hands on Nintendo’s newest handheld console in March.

The Japanese video game giant announced today that the Nintendo Switch will debut on March 3 for $299.99. It will also go on sale in Japan, Canada, major European countries, Hong Kong, and other territories.

The Switch, Nintendo’s seventh console, is a crucial launch for the company following disappointing Wii U sales compared to competing devices like the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The portable console can be hooked up to a TV via a docking station for big-screen gaming. It will have two detachable “Joy-Con” controllers on either side. When gamers are on the move, the controllers can either be attached to the screen for a fully handheld experience or detached while the screen rests on a kickstand. When it’s time to play at home, controllers can be removed for multi-player gaming while the system is on the TV dock.

Nintendo, which originally teased the Switch in October, said today that the console’s software will not have region locks.

Update: Investors didn’t seem too thrilled with Nintendo’s announcements, as the company’s stock fell more than 5 percent after the event.

Update: Here are some more key details about the Switch that Nintendo announced today:

  • The Joy-Con controllers, which come in monochrome, blue, and red, have a “HD rumble” feature that lets you feel individual ice cubes falling into a glass, for example. The right controller has a motion AR camera that can detect your physical hand from a distance and knows the difference between a rock, paper, and scissors hand motion. Each controller has an accelerometer and the left one has a “capture” button to take screenshots.

  • The Switch will work with an online service, pairing with your “smart device,” and will be free to use until later this fall.
  • The Switch has a capacitive touchscreen.
  • You can connect up to eight Switch consoles together on local WiFi.
  • Battery life ranges from 2.5 hours to 6.5 hours, depending on how much you play.
  • Nintendo will release Super Mario Odyssey this holiday season for the Switch. It’s a sandbox-style game where Mario interacts with the real world.

  • Nintendo showed off games for Switch. The first was “1 2 Switch,” a series of mini-games like tennis, wild-west quick-draw, and sword fighting that mainly utilize the controllers. Another game, “Arms,” is a boxing game that lets you “box” with others by holding the controllers and extending your arms.

  • Skyrim is also coming to the Switch. Other games include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, FIFA, Just Dance 2017, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem: Warriors, and Octopath Traveler.
