War is coming. But, first, a new trailer!

“Warcraft,” the hotly anticipated film adaptation of the online role-playing game, has a new trailer out today and the frenetic pace of the battle action is only heightened by a pulsating dubstep musical score.

The music seemed to catch fantasy fans off guard as comments on the video on YouTube and Twitter expressed dismay over the choice. Director Duncan Jones (“Moon,” “Source Code”) even had to weigh in and calm fans down, explaining the difference between marketing and an actual film score. The music for “Warcraft” is being handled by German composer Ramin Djawadi, who has previously not used dubstep in “Game of Thrones.”

Anyway, as far as the story and the visuals, humans team with good orcs to take on bad orcs in a fight to save the world. But we’ll just let the movie’s official site spell it out for you:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people, and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces. And everyone fights for something.

A previous trailer, below, was released in November and has 20 million views on YouTube. It sets up the story with a little more context than today’s, which comes at viewers with a bit of a sly edge and cocky grin — we’re looking at you, Anduin.

The film hits theaters on June 10 and stars Travis Fimmell (Anduin), Robert Kazinsky (Orgrim), Paula Patton (Garona) and Toby Kebbell (Durotan), all of whom are featured in this new poster:
