Twitter has collected a group of popular code projects that use its API into a single GitHub page in order to help out developers looking to build something with the social networking company’s tools.

The page includes references for a variety of applications, like a real-time voting tool, a service that lets people build out a playlist in Beats Music from tweets, and plot tweets on a Google Map to see where messages are coming from. All of those work as solid stand-alone applications, but can also be used as examples for more expansive projects.

By providing easy examples for people getting started with building apps using the social network, this could spur even greater development using the company’s growing library of tools.

New products that use Twitter as their backbone could, in turn, drive more users to the service – users that Twitter needs in order to keep up its growth, which has been slowing over the past year.
