Campers, hikers and anyone on the go will appreciate this — paper-thin, portable solar panels that charge devices on the go.

Solar Paper is the project of Chicago-based Yolk, a startup led by SungWon Chang. After her first solar project, the Solarade, she decided to take the concept further with this newer, lightweight solar panel version.

Chang claims that Solar Paper is the “thinnest and lightest” solar charger out there, which can power up an iPhone 6 in 2.5 hours on a sunny day. At only 0.15-inches thick and 4 ounces, it can easily be tucked away and carried to even charge gadgets while you’re walking or biking.

A pledge of $79 will secure you the basic Solar Paper, expected to ship in November. Yolk is offering it in 5, 7.5 or 10 watt chargers, with two, three or four panels. For larger devices or faster charging, they suggest going up in wattage.

The project is well over its first stretch goal on Kickstarter, raising more than $360,000 with 33 days to go. If it reaches half a million, Yolk will throw in a free carry pouch.
