Stephen Colbert unleashed a new series of TED Talks last night on the Late Show — failed TED Talks.

As Colbert says in the video, the esteemed series rejects “thousands and thousands” of potential speakers every year, only taking about 60 to 70 speakers, or “making it the only organization with more rejected candidates than the Republican Party,” Colbert says.

And so, he presents “RejecTED,” or basically TED Talk submissions that didn’t make the cut.

When Colbert took over CBS’ Late Show from David Letterman, one of the program’s biggest initiatives was making more viral videos. Going after popular series like TED Talks certainly can’t hurt.

We can’t wait to see more failed TED Talks. Enjoy.
