GalaxyS6Samsung is launching its latest flagship Android smartphones in the U.S. on April 10, the company announced today. People interested in purchasing either the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge will be able to pre-order them starting tomorrow.

The phones are available in three colors – “Black Sapphire,” “White Pearl” and “Gold Platinum.” Users can choose from 32, 64 or 128 GB of internal storage, and in a shift for the Galaxy line, they won’t be able to augment that with a MicroSD card. The S6 has a fairly familiar design compared to other smartphones on the market, but the S6 Edge features a screen that’s beveled on its left and right edge to display notifications on the side of the phone.

Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular will be selling both the S6 and S6 Edge, while Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless and MetroPCS will only carry the S6.

Both devices were first announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this month, and represent new hope for Samsung after the Korean electronics giant has hit rough sailing it its competition against other smartphone makers.

If April 10 sounds familiar, that’s because it’s a big day for other tech companies, too. The Apple Watch will be available for pre-order starting that day, Apple’s new MacBook will be available for purchase and the HTC One M9 will go on sale. That’s especially rough news for HTC, since people buying a phone will have to choose between its new flagship and Samsung’s.

To differentiate itself, HTC revealed a new “Uh Oh” protection plan last week that allows One M9 buyers to get a free replacement of their phone up to a year after they purchase it if they want to switch carriers, or if it accidentally suffers damage.
