Microsoft has patched the security flaw that Google disclosed this weekend as a part of its regular Patch Tuesday security updates.
In all, the company fixed 8 flaws in Windows, one of which was rated Critical, and seven others labeled important. As per usual with Patch Tuesday, Windows Users are recommended to update their operating systems as soon as possible to protect them from any security issues which may arise.
Microsoft criticized Google for publicly disclosing the flaw on Sunday, 90 days after Microsoft was first informed about it, in accordance with Google’s “Project Zero” timed disclosure policy.
