The Gates Foundation Visitor Center is holding a Teen Action Fair this weekend to raise awareness and funds to support clean water efforts worldwide.

To help communicate that message, the organizations will host two teen speakers, Jenneh Corkern, who lived in an orphanage in Liberia until the age of 7 when she was adopted by a Seattle couple, and her friend Grace Clipson. The pair are raising money for Seattle-based Water1st International to help the org give communities access to safe drinking water. (See them in the picture above.)

This is the second Teen Action Fair, an event that gives youth the chance to lead the dialogue for change. More than 20 teens are scheduled to present, along with a band that will perform and plenty of youth exhibits that highlight their service projects around King County.

It’s this Saturday, April 25, and is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gates Foundation Visitor Center, 440 5th Ave N. in Seattle. If you and your teen would like to attend, you should RSVP for the event here.
