2015 Year in Review from Facebook on Vimeo.

However, there were some major triumphs, including the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage, flying by Pluto and finding water on Mars.

In the post, Facebook writes: “We’re taking a look back on the moments in 2015 that moved us and inspired us to take action.”

To make the “Year in Review top 10 lists,” Facebook measured how frequently a topic was mentioned between Jan. 1 and Dec. 1, 2015.
