xboxonenokinectIf you were planning to spend some of your holiday gift money on an Xbox One, now might be the time to do so.

Microsoft is ending its limited time $50 price cut promotion and will raise the price of its Kinect-less console back to $399 on Sunday.

Since Nov. 2, Microsoft sold the Xbox One for $349. Several retailers also sold bundles for $349, effectively making the console less than $300. In addition, Microsoft dropped the Xbox One price to $329 for Black Friday.

The price cuts seemed to provide a nice holiday sales bump for Microsoft, as the Xbox One sold a record 1.2 million units in November and outpaced Sony’s Playstation 4 in the U.S. for the first time in 10 months.

Microsoft’s console debuted the Xbox One in November 2013 for $499, which was $100 more than the PS4. Then, in June, Microsoft began selling a $399 version of the Xbox One without the Kinect sensor — $100 less than the Xbox One with Kinect.

Sony has continued to sell its console at $399 since launch.
