Travelers have a new app to try out tonight, thanks to the launch of Expedia’s new iPad and Android tablet app. The company first unveiled the app at a press event last month, saying that it’s designed to create a great experience for people seeking a getaway while sitting on their couch or lying in bed. In addition to combined hotel and travel search functionality, the app also includes collections based around certain interests, including “Romantic Getaways” and “Upcoming Festivals.” The app also integrates with Expedia’s Scratchpad functionality, so users can access records of the trips that they have searched for on all their other devices.

People interested in downloading the app can find more information at expedia.com/app.
