If you were a fan of “Excitebike,” the Nintendo NES classic motorcycle racing game, then you’re going to enjoy the latest Red Bull creation.
“Red Bull Straight Rhythm,” is a new motocross event developed by the energy drink company that involves no turns — just a half-mile straight raceway with different whoops and tabletops along the way.
It will likely remind long-time gamers of the 1984 classic “Excitebike.” Even though the Red Bull version goes in a different direction and there are no ditches to avoid and slates of turbo boosts on the ground, the idea is the same.
Red Bull calls this a “innovative evolution of supercross,” but the Nintendo faithful may think otherwise.
