l4digitalGlobant S.A., a publicly-traded global technology consulting company, has acquired Seattle-based product agency L4 Digital.

Founded in 2008, L4 Digital employs 65 people that help develop digital products for brands like Sesame Workshop, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Chicago Public Media and Sony Pictures Television.

The acquisition will give Globant a presence in Seattle, where L4 will keep its office and employees.

“The company’s unique blend of multi-platform experience with a focus on quality assurance sets L4 apart from other digital services companies, so we are sure that this acquisition will strengthen Globant’s goal of becoming the best partner in developing profound digital transformations,” Globant CEO Martín Migoya said in a statement.

Founded in 2003, Globant employs more than 5,400 people in 12 countries. It became the first Latin American software company to go public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014. Globant posted record revenue of $82.4 million for the most recent quarter; shares are up more than 10 percent in the past year.
