For the best internship experience at a tech company with an interview of only average difficulty, pick Facebook. The social network tops the 2015 “25 Highest Rated Companies for Internships” rankings from Glassdoor.

The newly released report, timed for when college students are thinking about summer internships, puts Facebook in the top spot for the second year running. (Facebook debuted in the number one position last year.) Microsoft, which in 2014 was ranked seventh, dropped to 13th in the 2015 report. But it still maintained an overall rating of 4.3 on a five-point scale where 5 is interns reporting they were “very satisfied.”

All told, a dozen tech companies made the fourth-annual top 25 list from the jobs and recruiting marketplace. Google dropped a notch to number three overall. eBay, Yahoo and Epic also made the top 10, followed by Apple, Microsoft, Intel, Qualcomm, National Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and Broadcom.

In all cases, Glassdoor explained, the intent is “to help identify tech companies with the best internship programs .. based entirely on intern feedback shared over the past year.”

Glassdoor also took the opportunity of the report’s release to announce Glassdoor for Students, which it describes as “a free job search resource customized to meet the specific needs of college students, allowing them to find and research the latest internships, entry-level jobs and salaries, career tips and more.”

Now where’e the best place to actually find an internship?

Budding interns are pointed to New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C., as the five cities with the most open internships in the past month, according to Glassdoor stats. Seattle is in the middle of the pack of 20 U.S. cities.

Intern evaluations of the top 25 companies, provided to Glassdoor, spoke to the value of feeling as though an intern was making an impact, had supportive managers, and received decent compensation.

But there was also the grub.

“Another bonus, there is almost always free lunch,” approved an intern at number four ranked Quicken Loans.

“Office culture is fantastic, as was the program for undergraduate interns, which included “Bagel Wednesdays” (always a plus),” digested another in eBay public relations.

Access and flexibility, too, seemed highly prized. “Great culture, easy to talk to anyone you want throughout the company,” noted a Facebook intern. And a Microsoft Research intern concluded, “Great people and research environment with a lot of freedom.”
