By all accounts, Apple’s launch of its new smartphones has been a blockbuster. CEO Tim Cook says the company is selling the iPhone 6 as fast as it can make them, and the devices are still selling out around the world.

As it turns out, that same fever has hit business users.

According to Good Technology’s Mobility Index Report, enterprise activations of the iPhone during the third quarter of this year rose to 69 percent of all enterprise smartphone activations, up from 67 percent in Q2. The iPhone 6 made up 17 percent of all activations in September, despite the aforementioned supply issues, and the fact that it was only available for just a week-and-a-half at the end of the month.

Despite its business-friendly features, Microsoft’s Windows Phone didn’t see any growth over the quarter, and remains at 1 percent of the total enterprise activations. Microsoft has had that tiny slice of the enterprise pie for the past 6 quarters now. Microsoft is slated to announce its first Lumia smartphone without Nokia branding this week.

Meanwhile, Apple is pushing its products into the enterprise thanks to a new partnership with IBM. The enterprise tech giant is on the hook to work with Apple on a support plan for businesses, along with a bunch of business-specific apps for different industries.
