Updated below with answer and winner.

This audio featured in this week’s Name that Tech Tune contest will sound very familiar to many of you, but it’s just enough of a throwback that it should still be moderately challenging to identify. And it will bring back fun memories, at least.

Up for grabs are two copies of Entrepreneurial Journalism, one of the books by Mark Briggs, the director of digital media at KING 5, who is our guest this week on the GeekWire radio show. From the pool of correct answers, we’ll pick two people at random to win copies of the book.

Mark got the answer right on the second try on the show, on the second try, although my colleague John Cook was stumped as usual.

So here is your chance. Here’s the tune.

If you think you know the answer, send it to contest@geekwire.com.

Name that Tech Tune is a regular feature of the GeekWire radio show, which airs on KIRO Radio in Seattle (97.3 FM) at 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. every Saturday. The show runs every weekend on GeekWire.com.  Also search for the show on Stitcher.

If you’re stumped, you can listen to a longer version of the sound in this week’s Name that Tech Tune segment, and hear Mark’s initial incorrect guess to narrow down the possibilities.

Send your entry to contest@geekwire.com. We’ll give the answer and name the winners next week.

Update, 8/17: The answer was Centipede (not Pac-Man as many people thought!) Congrats to our winners, Shauna and Randy.
