Whatever the case, Obama just plugged Microsoft’s Xbox when discussing the nation’s battle over the government shutdown.
While explaining why he thinks Republicans are being unreasonable in their attempt to halt funding of Obamacare, the president used an Xbox analogy.
“You don’t get a chance to call your bank and say, ‘I’m not going to pay my mortgage this month unless you throw in a new car and an Xbox,'” the president said.
Obama is an Xbox fanboy, confirmed

Obama just dropped an Xbox reference in a speech about the shutdown. Best thing to happen to Microsoft this year?

Obama just said Xbox, how does that make you feel Playstation?

Well since Obama just opened his speech talking about Xbox's and holding our banks ransom, I'm guessing the gov. is still shutdown.

This isn’t the first time Obama has mentioned the Xbox in public. Back in 2009, he recommended that parents “put away the Xbox,” and encourage children to sleep earlier, read books and do their homework.
Microsoft cleverly responded to Obama, noting the Xbox’s timer feature and parental controls.
