breakingbadspoilerTwitter can be great at times, but when you’ve missed an episode of your favorite show, it can be pretty annoying to see everyone tweeting about it in your feed and spoiling the show in the process.

breakingbadspoiler1.jpgWith the massively popular Breaking Bad show set to air its season finale next Sunday, Netflix has rolled out a new “Spoiler Foiler” app that magically blacks out “danger words” that might relate to Breaking Bad on your Twitter timeline until you’ve been fully caught up with the show.

Unfortunately, though, the app only works through the SpoilerFoiler webpage and does not black out words on your Twitter timeline and elsewhere. An alternative option from saving yourself from such spoilers is to use the “mute” function commonly found on third-party apps like TweetDeck or Hootsuite

Netflix will air the Breaking Bad finale just after it airs on Sunday in the U.K., but those in the States will need to head to elsewhere to find the episode.
