DESCRIPTION:Life Science Washington’s annual East-West Summit brings the state’s life science leaders from industry\, academia and government together in Spokane to build cross-state networks. \nThe 2026 program features WSU leadership on research and partnership opportunities across the WSU enterprise\, state leaders outlining priorities for Washington’s $180 million annual Rural Health Transformation Fund\, university-industry partnerships aimed at student job pathways\, and a new partnership between Life Science Washington\, HSSA and LaunchPad INW to bring mentoring\, pitch coaching and investor connections to Spokane entrepreneurs. \nSpeakers include Chris Riley-Tilman\, provost and executive vice president at WSU; Kim Christen\, vice president for research at WSU; Guy Hamilton\, director of the Center for Biotechnology Innovation and Training at UW Bothell; Leen Kawas\, CEO of EIT Pharma and managing general partner at Propel Bio Partners; Jane Zhang\, founder and CEO of Remmie Health; and Tae Han\, co-founder of Profound Bio. \nRegistration is $50 for Life Science Washington members and $150 for non-members.
