SUMMARY:TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Seattle Open House
DESCRIPTION:TiE Seattle opens the door on its TiE Young Entrepreneurs program for the 2026-27 year\, with an open house for prospective students in grades 9-12\, along with parents\, mentors and community members. \nTYE is a global TiE program that puts high school students into teams of four to six to build a real startup\, working through design thinking\, customer discovery\, rapid prototyping and lean business modeling with mentorship from industry leaders. Teams pitch at a final competition\, and the winning team advances to the TYE Global Finals. The program runs as six Wednesday sessions from October through December\, followed by mentorship sessions from January through April. \nThe open house itself includes a chance to meet past TYE Global Champion teams and hear how the program works. Need-based scholarships are available. \nThe open house is free for students\, parents\, mentors and non-members. The TYE program carries a separate application fee\, discounted for those who attend the open house in person. \nRegister for the open house
