DESCRIPTION:Seattle JS Hackers runs its monthly Code Katas night\, a structured\, hands-on coding practice session open to developers at every experience level. Katas are short programming exercises that participants solve in whatever language they choose\, then compare approaches with the room. \nThe format: organizers present the kata and how to practice it\, everyone works the problem on their own laptop with help from neighbors and mentors\, and the group reviews how different people solved the same problem. \nSchedule \n\n5:30 p.m. — Arrive and socialize\n5:45 p.m. — Food\, sponsored by SeekOut\n6 p.m. — Intro\, format and prep\n6:10 p.m. — Round 1\, warm up\n6:45 p.m. — Round 2\, challenge round\n8 p.m. — Wrap up\n\nBring a laptop; wireless is available.
