Overview

Every day, millions of people rely on WeTransfer to share their creative ideas. So, the work we do matters. Come and be a part of it.

What we do
We aim to build simple, beautiful tools around people’s creative process. We’re interested in the weird and wonderful ways that creative minds work, and how they shape the world around us. This thinking has made our products and brand loved by many—from our moms to your favorite artists. We craft beautifully obvious tools that unlock creativity for millions of people every day.

What you’ll be doing
The platform team is at the core of engineering at WeTransfer. You’ll accelerate innovation by providing developers with the tools they need, while ensuring that the platform is reliable, performant, and secure. Together with the product teams you will work on processes and tools to support end-to-end ownership and self-service deployment of applications and infrastructure.

Some projects you will be working on are:

crash testing our Kubernetes clusters to make sure we cover all bases
extending the Go service that onboards new services onto our platform
researching a Kubernetes metrics storage backend that is scalable and HA
implementing a Go API for deploying applications and infrastructure

Who we are looking for?
Above all else we value open communication and good teamwork to achieve a shared vision. We are looking for proactivity in spotting problem areas and proposing ideas for improvements. Ideally you are an experienced engineer with several years of hands-on design and implementation of systems and solutions for high availability and fault tolerance.
