The primary responsibility of the Vice President Digital Products is to lead a department focused on growing revenue booked directly on MGM Resorts International’s digital properties and via the mobile app. The Vice President Digital Products will manage a portfolio of critical, high growth, industry leading products totaling over $800M in annual revenue, which will include leading our web and mobile product teams.
Own the strategy and roadmap for our web and mobile products
Manage & empower a team of high performing product managers and designers
Articulate & design customer experiences
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, gathering business and product requirements.
Work with engineering, research, and design teams to assist in the delivery of software products.
Actively engage in product research to identify deficiencies in the products.
Optimize for key SaaS and engagement metrics
Proactively work with stakeholders to communicate product releases
Provide leadership and guidance in the development of concepts, strategies, planning, implementation, and coordination for eCommerce activities directly related to website and offer optimization
Develop and implement short and long term strategies to increase website optimization (e.g. conversion, profitability and reduce cart abandonment)
Responsible for the website and mobile operational budget and balances total online revenue and gross margin with internal P&L responsibility
Collaborate with internet and loyalty marketing departments to maximize online revenue and profitability through campaign coordination. Provide guidance on proper landing page for campaigns to maximize conversion.
Conduct frequent internal and external evaluations of the site to ensure the optimal customer experience, including regular competitive analysis of direct competitors and relevant non-competitors. Propose new strategies and experiments as appropriate.
Determine and prioritize feature roadmap for IT enhancements needed to backend systems to meet web, mobile eCommerce goals
Collaboratively work with MGM Digital Ventures Engineering team to develop and enhance platforms
Provide thought leadership and technical guidance in the area of A/B and multivariate testing and site optimization
Analyze site analytics results to make data-driven recommendations for site enhancements
Utilize current web analytics, SEO and usability tools to identify how customers are actually interacting onsite and build a site improvement roadmap based upon these learnings
Keep abreast of new features and functionality released within our web experience management and analytics platforms and recommend how to best utilize these to grow our capabilities

Minimum 10 years of experience in product leadership, with a proven track record of conceptualizing, designing and releasing great consumer products with market appeal
Experience developing mobile apps
Prior experience at the VP of Product level or comparable executive role building and leading high-performance teams
Experience with agile development and lean startup principles
Demonstrated ability to work with company leadership and executives to effectively define the product and portfolio strategy
Ability to assess market segments, products, vendors, and complex technologies for fit against MGM’s financial targets, strategic initiatives, and product goals
Advanced understanding of online user experience, online marketing principles and strategy
Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, back-end process, and IT technology and systems required
Experience developing departmental strategic plans, operating budgets, and capital expense plans
Experience implementation testing strategies across digital platforms (web, mobile)
Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Teradata) and statistics / BI tools such as SAS, Tibco Spotfire, Tableau is a plus
Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or Statistics
