The Executive Director Web Product Management will be responsible for creating and deploying groundbreaking new web products and features utilized by millions of online users visiting MGM Resorts International websites. This role will be technically oriented and oversee all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing and integration of products as well as the introduction of products to the market. The Executive Director Web Product Management will drive website traffic growth, increase user engagement and increase online revenues.
Define the overarching product direction and strategy for all guest-facing MGM Resorts International websites
Introduce technical topics, sponsor opportunities for innovation and recognize technical excellence
Develop new software product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect market and user requirements.
Drive prioritization of large “big rock” product initiatives to ensure development resources are focused on highest value items on the product roadmap
Oversight of all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing and integration of products as well as the introduction of products to the market
Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to capture business, product and high level technical requirements
Collaborate with VP Design and UX/UI designers to deliver simple, functional user-flows and consistent visual designs for products and features
Oversee competitive offerings, identify unmet needs and conceptualize and/or validate a new product offering, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer dynamics and needs
Review product specifications for the new products and features. Review and prepare concise product requirement, including user stories, mock-ups and user experience specifications
Work with product development teams to ensure adherence to product release schedules and the overall roadmap
Define key operational metrics. Evaluate and report commercial success (RIO and customer satisfaction) of a newly launched or established product
Create and maintains a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment
Other job related duties as requested
Eight (8) years’ experience working on mobile applications either as a product manager or developer
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
Background in Product Management, mobile strategy, trends, and dynamics.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
Certifications, Licenses, Registration:
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Nevada Gaming License and Michigan Gaming License may be required
