The Director Product Management will be responsible for leading the product management team and building products that will drive customer engagement, retention and increased revenue. This position will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. The Director Product Management will lead the Product Management team to ensure that they are exceeding the customers’ needs.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

Direct the road-map creation process for the product management team
Define product success metrics and analyze product performance while making changes/recommendations as needed
Implement and drive a “customer obsession” philosophy within the product management team
Serve as the ambassador for the client experience and end-user/fan
Apply knowledge of web and mobile OS (Android, iOS) and SDKs to drive the requirements and shape the device experience for the MGM guest
Create a highly-engaging web and/or mobile application and device experience for MGM guests
Collaborate with and guide cross-functional teams to develop features that improve user experience, and support content, marketing, social integration, application best practices, and standards
Work closely and lead day-to-day activity of both internal and third-party vendor teams
Define requirements via stakeholder interviews, business drivers, competitive analysis & industry research
Develop product documentation including specifications, wireframes, site maps, process flows etc
Track and gather approved assets from multiple sources and deliver to project leads
Facilitate communication across all project phases and proactively alert senior management of changes to scope, timelines, resources and vendor management issues
Ensure proper integration and scalability of shared systems, products and tools
Direct and navigate the priorities of engineering, design, content and marketing while balancing resourcing and other constraints to arrive at an effective and timely solution
Help create and maintains a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment
Perform other job-related duties as requested

Seven (7) years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis and Financial Planning & Strategy
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience will be considered


Background in Product Management, Product Development, Competitive Analysis
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
