Overview

The Cambia Grove Executive Director seeks to be a nationally recognized leader and catalyst in transforming America’s health care system. The Cambia Grove, a Seattle-based health care transformation collaborative, is in the heart of the Pacific Northwest’s entrepreneurial community. It connects, organizes and supports industry pioneers as they disrupt the health care system with new business models. The Executive Director oversees programs and events designed to create a person-focused and economically sustainable health care system.

Experience Required:

  • 10 years’ management experience, an emphasis in health care preferred
  • Broad knowledge of the American health care system, business practices and policies
  • Demonstrates executive presence, capable of building and strengthening relationships with seasoned C-suite level health care executives; has past success forming alliances and developing strategic partnerships
  • Behaves as a servant leader who comfortably moves between workhorse and spokesperson tasks, values diverse opinions, thinks long term, and creatively solves problems; Has experience leading teams of direct reports and developing talent
  • Experience running an operating budget, managing an office space and multi-use facility and/or a startup business
  • Experience facilitating events: C-level meetings, summits, training sessions, panel discussions, pitch days, and conferences with large attendance
  • Experience with non-fiduciary advisory boards and reporting to corporate management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, with a Masters or MBA preferred

General Functions and Outcomes:

Oversee the daily operations of Cambia Grove’s programming, communications and events. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Engage Advisory Panel and partners
  • Serve as an ambassador of Cambia Grove through speaking engagements, thought leadership, media and social media
  • Maintain strong presence of Cambia Grove in entrepreneur and VC communities

Work Environment:

Work primarily performed in office environment.

  • Travel required, locally or out of state.
  • May be required to work outside normal hours
