Thirsty Thursday + GeekWire Podcast Live at NeighborHub

Warmer weather is here and we’re ready to celebrate summer with our favorite geeks! Our tech-power-happy-hour will be making its way to Ballard for a live recording of the GeekWire podcast in Columbia Bank’s new Ballard NeighborHub. After, we’ll head to the rooftop deck for drinks, delightful conversation and fun games.

Join us for this special edition of Thirsty Thursday, presented by Columbia Bank on Thursday, August 23 at the Ballard NeighborHub (5601 22nd Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107) from 6 – 9 p.m.

Arrive early to join us in the audience for a live recording of the GeekWire podcast, hosted by GeekWire’s Todd Bishop and John Cook! On the show, we are excited to be joined by Sarah Studer, managing director of Seattle’s Impact Hub and Amy Nelson, co-founder of The Riveter, who will be discussing the workplace of the future, and how to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in the community.

Following the live show, we’ll head to the rooftop terrace and lounge for happy hour. This is your chance to unwind after work over local brews, connect with the geeks behind the bylines, and make friends with the young professionals powering Seattle’s booming tech scene.

This is an intimate venue and this meetup will likely sell out. Don’t snooze on buying those tickets! A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Ballard Boys and Girls Club.
