Seattle Public Space: Balance and Equity in Thriving Cities

August 23 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join us for an interactive discussion on how public open space can promote balance and equity in the City of Seattle. This discussion will explore how designers can support holistic and systemic solutions that address barriers to equity in the community. We will examine a collection of case studies from local design teams, neighborhood coalitions and city policymakers that seek to implement place-based solutions. Following the presentations, we will expand the conversation through a moderated Q&A emphasizing community-based design approaches to the development of public open space.
