Seattle IoT Mixer – How to succeed with emerging technologies

Companies of all sizes, ranging from startups to large enterprises, face unique challenges and opportunities when dealing with emerging technologies. Our guest speakers will discuss their first-hand experience on how companies are solving these challenges and what motivates them to do so. Audience participation in the discussion is encouraged!

Discussion speakers:

Anton Kishchenko, Cloud Architect
Anton leads Cloud Architecture at TZOA — an IoT startup with R&D Lab in Vancouver, Canada, that develops an indoor air-quality monitoring solution. He has previous background in cyber forensics and telecom security. In his spare time, he teaches cloud technologies at British Columbia Institute of Technology to aspiring startup developers, and jumps from cliffs with a paraglider.

Merita Vilen, Strategic Change Management Consultant
Merita is passionate about the importance of the culture factor in organizational transformations. She has a wealth of experience from telecommunications sector. She is also an author of the book on Nokia’s successes and failures, where she outlines several lessons learned.

Andre Podnozov, IoT Architect
As an IoT Architect at Luxoft, Andre covers a wide range industries: from energy and utilities, to healthcare and life sciences, and more. His past experience includes companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Getty Images, Columbia Sportswear, among others. He is passionate about IoT and has helped dozens of clients build IoT projects in support of their Digital Transformation initiatives.
