Join us for a special evening with best-selling author, Sally Hegelsen. Sally will be discussing her latest book, “How Women Rise: Break the 12 Habits Holding You Back from Your Next Raise, Promotion, or Job”, written alongside bestselling leadership coach Marshall Goldsmith.
Sally Hegelsen is a leadership expert and has trained thousands high achievers to reach even greater heights. On the evening of the May 17th, we’ll hear from Sally as she identifies and discusses ways in which we can help women rise in their careers, through both changes to individual habits as well as systemic processes. Conversation moderated by Caryn Mathes, President & GM of KUOW. This evening promises actionable takeaways for women in every stage of their careers connections.

Caryn Mathes is the President and General Manager of KUOW 94.9. With 44 years in electronic media and 34 years of broadcast and communications management, Caryn helped lead transformation at this top 20 market NPR affiliate.
In 2016, Mathes received the Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) Women of Influence Award. In 2013 she was named one of the Women Who Mean Business by the Washington (D.C.) Business Journal. Additionally, she received a Women of Distinction Award from the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) in 2007, presented annually to pay tribute to women leaders who have made extraordinary accomplishments in their professions or their communities.
